Srinagar: From discounts to free coaching and medical treatment offers,  Kashmiri Muslims  are showering their affection  on “Sikh brethren for their bravery.”

Across social media platforms, the Sikh community is being hailed for sheltering and helping Kashmiri Muslims under attack from mobs in Jammu and elsewhere following the deadly Pulwama bombing on February 14 that left nearly 50 CRPF troopers dead.

“Free coaching for Sikh students in 11th and 12th medical – non-medical,” Eternal Coaching Centre Anantnag wrote on Facebook.

Dr Adil Wani, a renowned dental surgeon, announced a “one- month free dental service for Sikh patients” at his clinic in Achabal Adda Anantnag while Mudasir Motors announced free car service repair for “any Sikh brother.”

“50% Discount on USGs/Doppler studies at Friends USG centre Janglatmandi 4 Courageous n Generous Sikh Brethren,” wrote Dr Owais Dar.

A Medical store in Dangerpora Islamabad said it will give special discount on medicines for the “brave heart Sikh community.”

According to media reports, Khalsa Aid, gurdwaras, and many Sikhs helped Kashmiris reach their homes apart from providing them shelter and food as frenzied mobs went on a rampage in Jammu and targeted Kashmiri students and businessmen elsewhere. (GNS)
