Srinagar: Darbar Move Employees Federation (DMEF) Saturday gave an ultimatum to the government asking it to provide them security to them.
Federation President OvaisWani said that despite assurance given by Divisional Commissioner Jammu and higher-up of police that measures have been taken for safeguarding the employees another motivated mob attack was launched today morning on the government quarters.
He added that despite imposition of curfew and restrictions being announced officially, a huge mob managed to attack the official accommodation of employees and attempts were made to set ablaze the flats housing them. It could be the guess of anyone how they managed to reach there and launch an attack in broad day light, he added.
He said that they will be forced to give a call for return of all employees to the Valley.
Appealing all the people to maintain communal harmony, he said that our heart also beats for the loss of human lives in Pulwama attack.
“Attacking and singling out a community for an attack will only disturb the atmosphere in the state,” he said. (KNS)
