Clashes erupt in Anantnag against Jammu incident
Anantnag: Clashes erupted between youth and forces in Anantnag town after the youth hit the streets to protest against the Jammu incident in which several vehicles were damaged and burnt on Friday.
Reports said that several vehicles among dozens that were burnt by violent mob in Jammu on Friday in protest against Lethpora attack were belonging to Anantnag residents.
As this news spread in the area on Saturday morning, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on government forces which was retaliated by smoking tear gas shells.
Sources said that most part of the town was already shut against Jammu incident however, when clashes broke out, all the shopkeepers closed their shops and traffic went off the roads.
