Bandipora : Four Kashmiri student was allegedly beaten by Maharashtra Batch students in Raipur Chattisgrah on Wednesday evening, when they were in the canteen.

Reports reaching KNO said that the students identified as, Faisal Ahamad Parray son of Mohammad Akabar Parray,Zahid Afazal wani, Son of Mohammad Afzal wani, Naveed Ahamad Hajam son of Nazir ahamad Hajam, Mohsin Salam Rather son of Abdul Salam Rather, belong to to Bandipora area Northern Kashmir.

Sources told KNO that, all four students from Bandipora went to Chhattisgarh for six months undertaking under Himiyat training at Raipur in Chattisgrah.

 

Faisal Ahamad an injured student told KNO: We were in the canteen. The non-Kashmiri boys came started thrashing us with iron roads and knives for  about half an hour.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigation is currently underway.

Meanwhile, parents of the Kashmiri students urged the state government to intervene in this regard to ensure safety of their childrens in Chattisgrah.(KNO
