Yasin Malik grieved over Grand Mufti’s demise

Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of grand Mufti Jammu Kashmir, Mufti Bashir-ud-din who breathed his last today.
JKLF chairman along with a delegation comprising of vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal and others visited the residence of grand Mufti, met with his bereaved family and expressed his condolences to them.
Terming late Mufti as an iconic Islamic scholar and social figure, Malik as per a statement issued here said that his efforts for social harmony and spreading Islam will be always remembered.
While praying for the heavenly abode of late grand mufti, JKLF chairman also prayed for Sabr-I-Jamil of his bereaved family. On the directions of JKLF chairman, a delegation of JKLF also participated in funeral prayers of late grand Mufti.
