Guv Malik playing with fire, trying to change Muslim majority character of J&K: Mehbooba Mufti
Srinagar: Former chief minister and PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said that ‘Guv is playing with fire by taking decisions against the sentiments of people’ and accused him of trying to change muslim majority nature of the state.
Reacting over protests following the divisional status given to Ladakh, Mehbooba adrressing a presser demanded rotational headquarters for Kargil and Ladakh like Jammu amd Kashmir.
Mehbooba who was accompanied by PDP vice president Abdul Rehman Veeri, Muhammad Ashraf Mir and Khurshid Aalam said that central government is implementing its agenda through JK’s Governor. “We in the coalition government foiled the vest power attempts of the central government but now they are implementi g their agenda via Governor Malik,” she said.
She also highlighted the demands of Pir Panchal and Chinab Valley residents and said that they should also be given divisional status.
Mehbooba further added that stranded passengers are facing hardships and Guv led admin must take steps in this regard.
