Body of Pak national exhumed after six months

Rajouri: Authorities on Tuesday exhumed a body of a Pak national after more than six months at Kampla Mohra in Rajouri district of Jammu division.
Station House Officer (SHO), Nowshera Mohammad Amin Malik said that the body of the Pak national identified as Irshad Ahmad 30-years son of Mohammad Shabir of Kotli Gujjran was exhumed today following the magisterial orders.
“The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad, had ordered the exhumation. The orders followed after Pakistan army had taken up the matter with their counterparts following which the legal process was initiated to exhume the body as the family of the deceased approached authorities here”.
“Civil and police officials, including Tehsildar, Additional SP Nowshera, SHO concerned and a team of doctors were also present on the spot, he said.
“The body after exhumation was handed over to army authorities for further transportation to his native village via Chakan da Bagh crossing, he said.
“On the intervening night of 22/23-07-2018 Irshad after intruding towards this side of Line of Control (LoC) died due to electric shock at Sair in Nowshera sector, he said.
“Next day, he was buried at Kampla Mohra. A case FIR No 147/18 U / S 2/3 E&IMCO stands registered in police station Nowshera in this regard,” he said. (GNS)
