Srinagar: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba Friday paid rich tribute to Irfan Ahmed alias Abu Hurrara who was killed in a brief gunfight at Chakoora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In a statement to a local news gathering agency, the Laskar-e-Taiba Chief Mahmood Shah said that those youth who lay their lives are the hallmark of freedom struggle.
“The sons of Kashmir are competing against Indian forces and rendering countless sacrifices. We are the heirs of such sacrifices,” he said.
Mahmood Shah said that the way in which the indigenous freedom struggle is progressively strengthening will pave for the disintegration of India.
He thanked the public and appreciated them for their support by appearing into the funeral prayer of Irfan in massive numbers regardless of harsh cold weather. “Such are the true living examples of ever-alive nations,” he said. (CNS)
