PDP district Prez Bla resigns from party
Baramulla: Peoples Democratic Party’s Baramulla district president, Irshad Rasool Kar on Thursday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Kar was Incharge President of Bandipora district for PDP in Bandipora as well.
The dissidence in the party continued since the party parted ways from the government after its ally BJP took away its support.
“I am resigning from the basic membership of the PDP. I have sent my resignation letter to the party president (Mehbooba Mufti),” Kar told ‘Kashmir Vision’.
Many of the PDP leaders including cabinet ministers resigned from the party from past couple of months while as the party also expelled its leaders over what they said ‘anti-party’ activities.
