Kupwara: Government forces on early Wednesday morning launched cordon and search operation in Salkoote village in northern Kashmirs Kupwara district.
Joint team of forces laid a siege in Salkoote village following a specific information about presence of militants in the area.
The operation was launched at about 07:15 Am.
Door to door searchs were underway when last reports came in.
