Srinagar: Bikers are facing tough time commuting in the city as Police is halting there movement at several Naka’s erected at the entry points of the city and within city as well.

Eye witnesses said that at Parimpora, the northern gateway to city, police has stopper two wheelers including bikers, scooty’s and scooters and is not letting them move towards the interiors of the Srinagar.

“Despite all documents they are not letting us go. Its sheer harassment,” a biker said.

They claimed that police is creating frivolous issues to detain them and none is allowed to move.

“Despite having licence in my name and ownership papers of my brother, they are telling me to prove that the bike is not of theft,” they said.
