Budget 2019: Exemption from tax for individuals with gross income up to Rs 6.5 lakh comes with a rider
New Delhi: FInance Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said that individuals with gross income up to 6.5 lakh rupees will not need to pay any tax if they make investments in provident funds and prescribed equities.
Goyal made these comments in Lok Sabha during his speech for Budget 2019.
