Cop commits suicide
Budgam: A police head constable shot himself dead with his service rifle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
Reports said that a head constable identified as Mohammad Shafi Mir (46) son of Mohammad Ismail Mir resident of SadooraAnantnag who was posted at District Police Line (DPL) Budgam shot himself dead with his service rifle on Monday morning.
SP BudgamAmodNagpure said that the cop committed suicide by firing upon himself at DPL Budgam early morning.
Reasons are being ascertained, the officer said.(GNS)
