Bootlegger arrested in Anantnag
Anantnag: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a bootlegger from Anantnag in south Kashmir.
According to police the bootlegger was arrested at a naka checking at Check post Verinag as they recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
During search, bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of SadiqShaksaaz son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Verinag, police said.
Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and initiated investigations in the matter, police added.
