Cop shoots himself in Budgam
Budgam: A police head constable shot himself dead with his service rifle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
Reports said that a head constable Mohammad Shafi Mir (46) son of Mohammad Ismail Mir resident of Sadoora Anantnag who was posted at District Police Line (DPL) Budgam shot himself dead with his service rifle on Monday morning.
SP Budgam Amod Nagpure told that cop committed suicide by firing upon himself at DPL Budgam today early morning.
Reasons are being ascertained, officer said.(GNS)
