Two dead, 20 injured in Udhampur mishap
Srinagar: Two passengers died while 20 others sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident on Udhampur-Ramnagar road in Jammu region.
Officials said that a bus was on way to Ramnagar from Udhampur here, which met with an accident at Kuh Nalla area. “The bus rolled down into a deep gorge in which two people died and 20 others are injured,” they said. They added that the rescue team has been sent to the spot while as no further information in the mishap is available so far.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) highway however told KNO that preliminary reports suggest that only one person has died in the mishap so far while 16 others are injured. “No confirmed reports are available at present,” he added.(KNO)
