It starts snowing in Srinagar
Srinagar: Though the MeT department here had predicted partly to generally cloudy sky on Thursday, it has started to snow in Srinagar city bringing down the temperature as well.
“It will be partly cloudy sky to generally cloudy while the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 06 0 C and 0 C,” the MeT statement issued yesterday evening said.
However, most parts of Srinagar are witnessing a heavy snowfall, reports said.
Pertinently, the MeT predictions over the past few weeks have been proving to be quite contradictory.
