Rashtriya Bajrang Dal protest in Jammu against Rohingya, Bangladeshi immigrants
Jammu: Activists of rightwing group Rashtriya Bajrang Dal on Monday protested against Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants living in Jammu outside Raj Bhavan.
The protesters wielded trident and banners, and raised slogans against the immigrants.
Rakesh Bajrangi, state president Rakesh Bajrangi, said that time and again the issue has been raised but successive governments have failed to drive out the immigrants.
“We have assembled outside Governor House to wake him up to take action,” Rakesh said.
Bajrangi threatened to launch an agitation joined by public to drive the immigrants out and said the consequences there upon will be squarely on the government.
” We are going to launch an agitation to drive them out, consequences of which will all be upon the government,” Rakesh said.(KNO)
