Police arrests a lottery vendor
Srinagar: Police on Tuesday arrested a lottery vendor in Lalchowk area, a police spokesman said.
He said that acting on specific information regarding the presence of lottery sellers in Lachowk police arrested the lottery seller who was cheating common masses in the area.
The arrested person was identified as Faizan Ahmed Dar son of Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar resident of NarkaraBudgam.
A Scooty bearing registration number JK04D/7678, a mobile phone used for online ticket booking with bookies and other relevant material was recovered and taken in possession accordingly.
A case FIR No 02/2019 under relevant section of law has been registered and initiated investigations in the matter, the spokesman added.
