BSF constable awarded for his quick response to militant attack
Jammu: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has rewarded Constable Irshad Ahmad of 168-BN BSF for his alertness and quick reaction to a militant attack.
“Constable Irshad Ahmad showed his alertness while on duty averted a major tragedy by his quick reaction to militants’ attack on January 7, 2019,” a police spokesman said.
He said that the DGP accorded sanction to cash reward and commendation certificate class-I in his favour in recognition to his brave act, vide PHQ order No. 175 of 2019.
