Baramulla: Six persons including an ambulance driver were injured in an accident at Pattan, Baramulla on late Sunday evening.

“Six persons including an ambulance driver were injured. The ambulance driver has been identified as Manzoor Ahmed Khan resident of Gund Razak Khan Haril Handwara. He has been shifted to Srinagar as his condition is stated to be critical,” a police official said.

According to reports, the Ambulance was on way to Handwara however, when he reached near ITI Pattan it collided with a private car resulting in injuries to six persons.

Other injured in the mishap have been identified as Mohammad Rafiq Chak , Hajraa Bano,  Sonallulah Ahmed Dar, Ghulam Mohi ud din Dar and Mubeena Begum all resident of Handwara. They all were rushed to SDH Pattan, however, Mohammad Rafiq Chak and Hajira Bano have been shifted to SDH Sopore for advanced treatment.
