SDM Zainapora assures redressal of grievances
Shopian: Sub-district Magistrate (SDM) Zainapora, Syed Ahmad on Saturday held a public darbar here at his office during which people apprised him about various issues including potable drinking water, power supply, sanitation and mainly traffic related issues.
Officers of Revenue, Engineering departments, Municipality, Transport and people from the sub-division of Shopian district attended the darbar. SDM on the occasion directed all the officers to work diligently for the betterment of the people.
Besides, the officers spoke on different schemes and developmental projects and informed people about the entailing benefits.
SDM Zainapora said that he was closely monitoring the present situation and problems faced by the people and soon people will overcome difficulties that they are facing right now.
He directed transport officials to ensure that drivers do not charge more fare and stop over loading in sumo vehicles operating in the area. He also directed them to keep traffic available on all routes of the area always especially during morning and evening hours.
