Free LPG connections distributed to Zaloora forest block dwellers
Sopore: Kamraj Forest Division on Thursday distributed 59 free LPG connections to forest dwellers of Zaloora block through Lone Gas Agency under PradhanMantriUjjwalaYojana.
The function was attended by Divisional forest officer Kamraj Forest Division Mehboob Ali, Range officer Kandi, Rehbar-e-janglat and other forest officials.
On the occasion, DFO Kamraj stressed on the immediate need of switching from traditional use of fuel wood to smoke free LPG.
He added that using LPG will not only improve the health of woman folk but will also help conservation of natural resources.
