LoC in Poonch hots up again
Srinagar: India and Pakistan armies on Wednesday morning exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Khari Karmara area of Poonch district, reports said.
They said that the Pakistan army targeted several forward posts in Khari Karmara area at around 08.30 AM.
The fire was retaliated by the troops from the Indian side which created a panic like situation in the area.
“Both sides are using small and heavy weapons including mortars,” reports said.
This is the fourth incident of exchange of gunfire in Poonch sector in last two days.
