Wild bear rescued at Larkipora in Anantnag
Anantnag: Officials of Wild Life department on Sunday rescued a wild bear who was stuck in a net in the night hours at Bamdoora Larkipora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that panic had gripped the area during the intervening night as a wild bear was seen roaming in the area.
An official of the Wild Life department told that after they got information about the bear in the area they rushed to the spot and when it was trapped in a net it was tranquilized and later rescued to a safe spot.
He said that bear would be released in higher reaches of local forest area.
