Clashes erupt in Tral
Tral: Clashes have erupted between government forces and youth in main Bus stand and main market area of Tral on Thursday morning.
Witnesses said that youth resorted to stone pelting in the main market area of Tral after troops cordoned off Gulshanpora village nearby during the wee hours.
Sources said that government forces comprising of men from 42RR, SOG Tral and CRPF cordoned off Gulshanpora village in Tral after specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
As the area was being cordoned, militants believed to be three in number have engaged in an encounter with the forces, sources said.
Meanwhile, forces have retaliated with tear smoke shells and aerial fifing to disperse off the protestors in Tral main market.
