Northern Army commander meets Guv Malik
Jammu: Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh, Northern Army Commander, met Governor Satya Pal Malik, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Lt. Gen Singh briefed Governor about the prevailing security situation along the forward areas and the hinterland, operational preparedness of the Army for anti-militant activities and measures being taken for ensuring safety and security of people living along the LoC and IB.
Lauding the professionalism of Army, Governor emphasized sharp vigil along the Line of Control and IB and maintenance of high ethical standards during discharge of duties.
