Day 3: Tral, Awantipora shut to mourn death of militants

Pulwama: A complete shutdown was observed in Tral and Awantipora areas of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district for the third consecutive day on Monday against the militant killings.
Six militants of Zakir Musa-led AnsarGhazwatul Hind including its Deputy Chief Soliha alias Rehan Khan were killed by the forces during a gunfight on Saturday morning in Arampora village of Tral.
All the shops and other business establishments continued to remain closed for the third straight day while as the traffic was also off the roads in Tral and Awantipora areas to mourn the killings.
Meanwhile, scores of people continued to visit the families of slain militants to express solidarity with them.
