Srinagar: At least five paramilitary CRPF troopers and a Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were injured when suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a patrol party at Arwani area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir on Saturday afternoon.
Police sources said that amidst stone pelting at Arwani, some miscreants lobbed one grenade on a CRPF party which was being called off resulting in splinter injuries to five CRPF men belonging to 90 battalion. One cop also sustained injuries in the incident.
All the injured are being treated, police said adding that the jawans sustained minor injuries.
