Mirwaiz grieved over demise
Sympathizes with bereaved families of seven Kashmiri laborers
Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of aged mother of Editor-in-Chief Daily Uqaab and writer ManzoorAnjum.
Mirwaiz as per a statement issued here extended his heartfelt condolences with ManzoorAnjum and the bereaved family prayed for the departed soul.
He also expressed condolences with Bashir Ahmad Nehvi, expert of Iqbaliyat over the sad demise of his mother, Farooq Ahmad Dar Co-Chairman Economic Alliance over the demise of his father, with the bereaved families of Muhammad Amin Wani and Aijaz Ahmad Sofi both the members of Awami Action Committee who passed away recently.
He also condoled the demise of Bashir Ahmad Salathi the cousin of AAC senior member Farooq Ahmad Soudagar. Mirwaiz praying for the departed souls, sought forbearance of the bereaved families.
In the meantime, a delegation comprising Muhammad Shafi Khan, Sufi Mushtaq Ahmad, Muhammad YousufBhat, GhulamNabiNajar and Jaffer Kashmiri visited the bereaved families and held special prayers session for the departed soul.
Mirwaiz also expressed sorrow on the death of seven Kashmiri laborers in a tragic incident in Uttrakhand and extended his sympathy to the bereaved families.
