Forces launch search operations in Tangmarg
Baramulla: Government Forces on early Thursday launched a cordon-and-search operation in North Kashmir’s Tangmarg village.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 2 RR, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF sealed Maheen village of Tangmarg and conducted door to door search operation in the area.
Local reports said whole area was kept under the cordon which affected the public and transport movement in the area.
Meanwhile, a senior police official also confirmed and said that following inputs about the presence of militants movement in the area, a search operation was launched, he added no contact with militants was established.
