Forces launch search operations in Tangmarg

Baramulla: Government Forces on early Thursday launched a cordon-and-search operation in North Kashmir’s Tangmarg village.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 2 RR, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF selaed Maheen village of Tangmarg and conducted door to door search operation in the area.
Local reports said whole area is under cordon which affected the public and transport movement in the area.
Meanwhile, a senior police official also confirmed and said that following inputs about the presence of militants movement in the area, a search operation has been launched, he added that as of now no contact with militants has been established.
