Class work in colleges to remain suspended tomorrow
Srinagar: In view of the prevailing situation in Kashmir, the district administration Srinagar on Monday decided to suspend the class work in all the colleges on Tuesday.
Officials told Kashmir Vision, the class work in all the colleges shall remain suspended for the day (Tuesday), saying that the decision to suspend the class work has been taken as a ‘precautionary measure’.
Earlier, three-day shutdown was observed across the Valley while as strict restrictions were imposed in Srinagar areas to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killings that took place on Saturday during an encounter in Sirnoo village of the district, which left three militants and an Army man dead.
