Sopore erupts over Pulwama killings, protests, clashes ensue
Sopore: Protests broke out in north Kashmir’s Sopore over civilian killings in South Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Reports said students at Degree College Sopore came out from the campus and started pelted stones on forces.
The forces retaliated with tear-smoke shells to disperse the protesting students.
The clashes in the area were going on when last reports came in.
Pertinently three militants, seven civilians were killed while dozens were injured in south Kashmir’s Pulwama village.
