Gunfight rages in Pulwama village
Srinagar: Gunfight rages between militants and government forces in Kharpora, Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 55RR, SOG and 182/183 BN CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Sirnoo area.
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon the forces triggering an encounter.
As this report was filed intermittent firing was going on.(GNS)
