Thousand attend funeral of slain militants in Sopore

Sopore:- Thousands of people on Thursday attended the funeral prayers of slain militants Owais Ahmad bhat and Tahir Ramzan Dar, killed in a overnight gunfight in brath kalan area of north Kashmir’s sopore
Thousands of people from Zaingeer belt of sopore including brath kalan, Saidpora, Dangarpora, and other adjoining localities assembled at the native and neighbouring villages of slain militants Owais and Tahir at Brath kalan and saidpora sopore when the slain militants bodies was brought to their native villages this afternoon, reports said.
Amid pro-freedom and anti government forces slogans Large numbers of mourners carried both slains bodies in a procession to martyrs’ graveyards at their respective villages for burial.
In Brath village large number of mourners shouting pro-freedom slogans carried slian Owais’s body in a procession to the graveyard for burial.
In Saidpora slian Tahir’s body was marched by thousands of mourners from his home to a local graveyard in Saidpora where his funeral prayers were held.
Slian Owais an ITI student left home one and half month back while as Tahir has left his home month back.
