Forces lay siege in Gund Brath village in Sopore
Sopore: Government Forces on Wednesday afternoon launched a Cordon and Search Operation in North Kashmir’s Sopore village.
Reports said that a team of Army’s 22 RR, Special Operation Group of Police (SOG) and CRPF jointly laid siege in Gund Brath area of Sopore.
Reports said that the forces acted after getting specific inputs about the movement of some armed militants in the area.
They said that forces closed all the entry and exit points of the village and carried out door to door searches.
However, no contact with the suspected militants was established.
