PDP suffers another jolt, Abbas Wani quits

Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former MLA Tangmarg, Abbas Wani on Monday tendered his resignation from the basic membership of the party. Meanwhile, another leader Adv Qamar Choudhary from rajouri also announced his split from the party.
This comes days after former finance minister Haseeb A Drabu and former MLA Zadibal, Abid Ansari resigned from the party.
Wani confirmed that he has tendered his resignation from the basic membership of the party and said that he has sent a letter in this regard to PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti.
Wani a first time MLA had dislodged heavy weight Ghulam Hassan Mir during the last elections in the Tangmarg constituency.
Meanwhile, another PDP leader and former MLA Rajouri, Adv Qamar Choudhary has also tendered his resignation from the basic membership of the party.
Qamar confirmed that he has tendered his resignation from the basic membership of the party and said that he has sent a letter in this regard to PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti.
Choudhary is considered to be enjoying a good clout in Rajouri.
