Baramulla:   10.88% Voters excercised their franchise in Tangmarg Block of District Baramulla till 10 am,  official said.

He said that of 5102 votes only 555 votes were cast of which 121 were by females.

Voting for ninth which is last phase of ongoing panchayat polls began on Tuesday at 452 polling stations in Kashmir division.

The timing for polling is from 8 am to 2 PM. 

Joint Resistance Leadership comprising of Syed Ali Geelani,  Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik have called for shutdown in poll bound areas against what they termed as ‘sham elections thrusted on people’.

According to JK Chief Electoral Officer, 346 polling stations have been categorized as hypersensitive in the phase.
