Faulty transformer irk Hawal residents
Srinagar: The residents of Hawal area are struggling with the power supply in the area as the transformer installed in the area is developing frequent snag resulting in power cuts.
The residents of Rang Masjid, Kralpora and Hawal are getting the power supply from a single 630 KV. Residents are saying that due to the overload on the transformer it develops frequent snags, with the PDD officials not paying any heed to the issue at all.
“Last night something happened, and the electricity went off. More than 20 hours have passed, the electricity is nowhere in the area,” said Latief Ahmad Misgar, a resident.
“We have brought the issue into the notice of the officials, but they are not paying any heed, with the result the residents of three areas are suffering,” said another resident, Muhammad Shahid Khan
