Gunmen attack army camp in Kulgam
Srinagar: Gunmen on Thursday morning fired at an army camp in Khudwani area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir, reports said.
They said that militants fired several shots at an army camp in Khudwani during wee hours. The army soldiers retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire.
The brief exchange if fire left a girl injured, sources said.
The girl has been identified as Muskaan Jan of Wanigund. She has suffered a bullet injury in the firing incident. She has been rushed to a hospital in Qaimoh for treatment.
Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area and searches have been going on.
