Two army men injured in Pulwama standoff
Srinagar: Two army men were injured after exchange of firing took place in Larve area of Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.
Reports said that two army men were injured after militants and forces exchanged firing in Larve village.
A senior police official said that a ambush was laid by the joint team of army and SOG in Larve on Sunday evening evening.
In the meantime, a group of militants who were passing through the area had a standoff with the forces, he said.
In the incident, the officer said that the two soldiers were injured and have been hospitalized. The condition of the soldiers is said to be stable. (GNS)
