Shopian: Gunfight has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Khudpora Memander village of Arwani in South Kashmir’s Shopian District this evening amid heavy snowfall.

Officials said that 44 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police, 23Para and CRPF jointly launched CASO. Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area.
