Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Friday reacted sharply over the statement made by Governor Satya Pal Malik, advising him not to poke his nose into the Kashmir dispute.

JKDFP spokesperson in a statement issued here said that “Kashmir dispute is acknowledged at the international level and it has three basic parties. There cannot be any solution to the dispute unless all the three parties, Kashmiri people, India and Pakistan are taken into confidence.”

“Jammu Kashmir has seen so many Governors so far and all of them have tried their best to oblige New Delhi. Some of them tried to please their masters by injuring the sentiments of the majority population and some went on killing sprees for the purpose,” he said.

JKDFP spokesman said that the present Governor who tries to be more loyal than the king, is a master in both. “A large number of people have already been killed so far in his tenure and he has even normalised the civilian killings in Kashmir by not issuing investigation orders in most of these killings,” he added.

“Governor S P Malik yesterday surprised one and all by denying basic facts of the Kashmir dispute. By doing so Governor Malik has proved he is ignorant of history,” he said, adding that let Governor Malik know that UNSC has passed one after another 18 resolutions about Kashmir dispute and acknowledged that it has three parties including Kashmiri people, Pakistan and India.

JKDFP spokesperson said that “New Delhi and its agents must know that the people of Jammu Kashmir are yet to decide their political future. Though New Delhi is busy in curbing and crushing the political sentiments of the people by using brute force yet fact on the ground is that people of Kashmir have never accepted India as their country.”

He advised S P Malik not to indulge in matters like Kashmir dispute as it is beyond his jurisdiction and above his stature.

“S P Malik has been posted in the disputed State to create an atmosphere where RSS agenda can be implemented more easily however, he must know that people of Kashmir have time and again proved that no power on earth can make them surrender their political rights,” he said.
