Standoff between militants, forces reported in Sopore
Srinagar: A standoff between suspected militants and security forces has been reported from north Kashmir’s Sopore area.
Reports said that a joint team of Army, Police, CRPF carried out a search operation at Behrampora village in Sopore where according to initial inputs ssome militants are reportedly hiding in a house.
According to reports as the forces zeroed in on the house, the gunmen have opened fire. Frequent gunshots are being fired in the area as more details are pouring in.
