Talks with Hurriyat only when Pakistan not drawn into discussion: Governor J&K
Srinagar: Till the time they don’t keep Pakistan separate, no talks will be held with Hurriyat, said Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik on Thursday.
“I recently met representatives from various parties. I met Omar Sahab, Mehboobaji, Tarigami sahab. As far as Hurriyat is concerned, they don’t even go to the toilet without asking Pakistan, so till the time they don’t keep Pakistan separate, no talks will be held with them,” he said while talking to reporters at SKICC.
Malik ‘requested people’ to stay away from the gunfight sites ‘until they are sanitised by the forces’.
