October: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested an OGW of HM in District Kupwara and recovered arms & ammunition from his possession.

“Joint party of Police and security forces apprehended one OGW affiliated with outfit HM namely Mohammad Shafi Magray son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Kandi at a checkpoint (Naka) established near HP Gas Godown in Drugmulla area of district Kupwara and recovered arms and ammunition from his possession,” a police spokesman said in a statement.

Police have registered a case FIR No. 306/2018 under relevant sections of law and investigation has been initiated, he said`.
