Srinagar: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper who had suffered serious injuries on Sunday evening in a militant attack on a camp in Midoora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

“Militants fired on Security force establishment at Midoora in Tral,” a police officer said.

In this incident, a security force personnel identified as Ct Vijay Kumar was injured who was subsequently shifted to army’s 92base hospital for medical attention, however, the official said that he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered a case and investigation has been initiated, he added.

Earlier, the militants had fired a UBGL grenade towards a camp in Tral area.  GNS
