PDD lineman electrocuted
Srinagar: A lineman of PDD died due to electrocution in Zogoo village of Khansahab in Budgam district on Thursday afternoon.
A police official said that the PDD lineman Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Gul Mohammad Khan of Zogoo Kharian received an electric shock while repairing an electric transformer in Bhat Mohalla area of Zogoo in the afternoon resulting in serious injuries to him.
Khan was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, he said. (GNS)
