MC Uri records 56.69 per cent voting till noon

Srinagar: Municipal Committee (MC) Uri is so far ahead of all the districts in Kashmir Valley with respect to the voting turn out. 59.69 per cent electorates have exercised their franchise during the ongoing municipal polls on Saturday.
As per official figures, out of 3552 votes, so far 2117 votes have been polled, which includes 1096 males and 1021 female votes.
Srinagar, till 10 in the morning, had recorded the lowest voter turnout with less than one per cent of votes polled.
